Community Education & Support Groups

Support for Your Sleep Disorder

The Sleep Medicine and Research Center educates the public about healthy sleep habits, the importance of sleep and how to recognize symptoms of sleep disorders. We do this through health fairs, lectures and presentations, health coaching, and sleep disorder screenings. And we provide information that is tailored to our audience, whether it be a work force, a church group, a civic or professional organization, parents, a school group, healthcare workers or a support group.

In addition, the Sleep Medicine and Research Center is a National Sleep Foundation Community Sleep Awareness Partner. We also sponsor A.W.A.K.E. (Alert, Well, And Keeping Energetic) in St. Louis, a health awareness group for people affected by sleep apnea. The group is dedicated to sharing information about, and increasing awareness of, healthy sleep habits, sleep disorders and related concerns.
