St. Luke’s Recognized as a Top Hospital for Maternity Care by U.S. News & World Report

Chesterfield, MO., December 10, 2024 - St. Luke’s has once again been named one of the Best Hospitals for Maternity by U.S. News & World Report. The hospital earned the prestigious designation of High Performing in Maternity Care, the highest recognition awarded in U.S. News’ annual study which measures quality and care on numerous metrics.

“Receiving this recognition highlights the exceptional care and dedication of our maternity team,” said Andy Bagnall, CEO of St. Luke’s. “Every day, our physicians, nurses, and staff work tirelessly to provide compassionate, high-quality care to families during one of life’s most meaningful moments. This honor is a testament to their commitment and the trust our community places in St. Luke’s.”

To be recognized among the Best Hospitals for Maternity Care, St. Luke’s had to excel on the quality metrics that matter most to expectant families: C-section rates, newborn complication rates, routine vaginal births after cesarean section rates, commitment to exclusive human milk feeding, episiotomy rates, birth-friendly practices and reporting on racial/ethnic disparities.
