St. Luke's Hospital Volunteer Program
Adult Volunteer Program
The adult program is offered year round. We are interested in individuals who can make an ongoing commitment of one morning or one afternoon per week. Adult volunteers have a minimum requirement of 40 total hours accumulated over a 10 - 12 week period of time. Of course, most of our adult volunteers stay for years and far exceed the minimum.
If you are interested in becoming a hospital volunteer, please complete and return the volunteer application. We will set up an interview appointment to discuss the program.
Once selected, you must agree to a physical assessment (including urine drug screen, tuberculosis test, flu shot and vaccination review) and to undergo a criminal background check (social security number is required). As soon as the clearance process is completed, you will join other volunteers who are an integral part of St. Luke's atmosphere of compassion and respect for those we serve.
If you are interested in learning more about our program, please contact us or submit an application.
