Women's Services

At the St. Luke's Women's Center, we understand that you want women's imaging and breast health services that are convenient to you and where your unique needs are recognized and met. With that in mind, we offer Breast Care Coordination to help manage and coordinate appropriate services and appointments, and to provide a more personalized approach to your care.

Breast Care Coordination is provided by a specially-trained registered nurse who serves as your advocate, navigator and educator, supporting each stage of your breast health experience from detection of a potential problem, through the process of a diagnostic work-up, to a definitive diagnosis and beyond. The Breast Care Coordinator can:

• Evaluate your risk for developing breast cancer
• Help you understand your diagnostic work-up and medical terminology
• Assist you with scheduling appointments, tests and procedures
• Help you to understand what to expect with any tests, treatments or procedures
• Serve as a liaison between you and your team of physicians and care providers
• Communicate your unique needs and concerns to your team of physicians
• Assist you to find answers to insurance questions
• Connect you with support services and resources
