Thank you for your interest in volunteering with St. Luke's Hospital. Volunteers are part of the St. Luke's family and play a key role in the outstanding quality of our patient and visitor experience. If you have a desire to make a difference in the lives of others, consider contributing your time and talents as a St. Luke's Hospital Volunteer!
Adult volunteers provide services to the patients, visitors, and staff of the hospital. Volunteers serve one four-hour shift each week, in the same department and on the same day and shift. The commitment for adult volunteers is a minimum of 100 cumulative hours, served over approximately six months.
If you are interested in learning more about becoming a volunteer, please complete the adult volunteer application accessed from the link below. Upon receiving your application, the Volunteer Office will contact you to schedule an interview to discuss the program and to see if we have a volunteer role that fits with your interests, skills, and schedule. Prior to starting volunteer service, applicants must complete a clearance process that includes:
- Urine drug screen
- Criminal background check (social security number required)
- Blood draw to screen for tuberculosis, measles, mumps, and rubella
- Immunization record review
- Current influenza vaccination documentation (or agree to receive one)
