Same Day Surgery

Thank you for choosing St. Luke's and entrusting us with your care. We will do all we can to make your surgical experience as comfortable as possible. Our goal is to support our patients with dignity, quality and professionalism. This information has been provided to help you understand what to expect as you approach your upcoming surgery. Specific written instructions regarding pain medications, fluid/food intake and activity will be given to you at the time of discharge. If questions or problems arise after you leave the hospital, please contact your surgeon. After business hours, please contact your surgeon through the exchange. You may also call the Outpatient Recovery Department at 314-205-6994. Outpatient Recovery is open from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday. In the event of an emergency, please call 911 or got to the nearest emergency department.

Parking and Admission:
Free parking is available for surgical patients in the North/South Parking Garage. Enter the hospital through the main lobby. Cross the main lobby and then follow signs to the Surgery Check in and Waiting area. For those guests who have difficulty walking, their driver may drop them off at the front entrance before parking the vehicle. After 8 a.m. (Monday - Friday), complimentary valet parking is available in front of the West Medical Office Building.
