Michael Marcus, MD, is a board-certified urologist with Metropolitan Urological Specialists. He has a special interest in office-based minimally invasive treatment prostatic enlargement (BPH) namely Transurethral Microwave Therapy (TUMT). He also possesses specialized expertise in DaVinci robotic-assisted laparoscopic urologic surgery.

Dr. Marcus received his bachelor’s degree with high honors in chemistry from Kenyon College in 1981. He went on to attend medical school at the University Of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Following graduation in 1985, he completed his internship, surgical residency and urology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Marcus holds membership with numerous medical societies such as the American Medical Association, the American Urological Association and the St. Louis Urological Society.
