Christine Mathews, MSN, FNP-BC is a board-certified nurse practitioner of urology services at St. Luke’s. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing by graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri School of Nursing in St. Louis. While still at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, Christine went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Nursing.

Christine has been recognized for nursing excellence over a dozen times by earning multiple Daisy Award and March of Dimes Nurse of the Year nominations. She was honored by St. Louis Magazine for Excellence in Nursing in 2018 due to her outstanding work as a critical care nurse.

Having served on critical care nursing and quality practice committees in the past, it’s clear Christine cares deeply about evidence-based healthcare practice and research. She also shares her nursing knowledge with others as a clinical instructor for St. Charles Community College.

To unwind, Christine enjoys fishing at Mark Twain Lake, hiking local trails, and tending to her many flower beds.
