Byron Baptist, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine and joins Drs. Mera, Boesch and Kumar at St. Luke’s. Dr. Baptist earned his medical degree from Our Lady of Fatima University, Manila, Philippines and completed his internal medicine residency at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Dr. Baptist works closely with patients to focus on preventative health and wellness and has a special interest in treating hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes and obesity. He provides a full spectrum of preventative and primary care and treats a variety of issues including, but not limited to heart disease, thyroid disorders, arthritis, and respiratory conditions. 

Dr. Baptist delivers a holistic approach towards medicine and offers compassionate care to each patient. He enjoys working with patients to build a relationship based on good communication and trust, and encourages patients to take an active role in improving their health. 

Dr. Baptist is currently accepting new patients ages 18 and older.
