In May 2021, Kim was diagnosed with gastrointestinal bleed after months of testing. After meeting with her primary care doctor, she asked to find a doctor at St. Luke’s, her preferred hospital over the past 20 years. Her physician referred her to Dr. Christopher Cronin.
After meeting Dr. Cronin, Kim felt assured that he was going to take care of her. “He knew what was wrong with me, he had seen what was wrong with me and he was going to take care of it,” Kim said.
In order to fix the GI bleed, Kim needed surgery. Not only was her surgery successful, she had a wonderful experience with everyone she encountered during her stay. “I cannot say enough about the nurses and the technicians that took care of me. Every time I called someone, I got a quick response,” Kim says.
