Newsweek™ Names St. Luke’s To “America’s Best Cancer Hospitals, 2024” List For The 2nd Year In A Row!

St. Luke’s Is 1 Of Only 200 Hospitals In The U.S. On The List

Chesterfield, MO, July 31, 2024 – St. Luke’s is thrilled to announce that its Center for Cancer Care has been recognized as one of Newsweek's "America's Best Cancer Hospitals 2024." The hospital was one of only six hospitals in the state of Missouri to receive this prestigious honor, and one of only 200 across the nation.

The list is compiled via data from four sources: a nationwide online survey of oncology professionals, hospital quality metrics, results from patient experience surveys and a consideration of whether the hospitals use patient-reported questionnaires (called PROMs) to optimize care. The Center for Cancer Care at St. Luke’s is proud to be an approved Commission on Cancer (COC) program, offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient treatment options, emotional support services, education, and preventive care to patients.

"This national recognition from U.S. News highlights the exceptional care and unwavering dedication that our St. Luke’s team provides to every patient, every time. Our world-class cancer center is well known for its top-tier clinicians, advanced technology, and comprehensive support programs,” said Andy Bagnall, President & Chief Executive Officer of St. Luke's. “We strive to offer our patients the full spectrum of leading-edge cancer care services, so receiving this type of third-party validation is truly heartwarming because it confirms that we are on the right path in our mission to empower our cancer patients in their battle against this disease."

The recognition of St. Luke's Center for Cancer Care as one of "America's Best Cancer Hospitals 2024" underscores the significance of the institution's mission to deliver outstanding patient care and advance the field of cancer treatment. St. Luke's remains dedicated to improving the lives of individuals affected by cancer and will continue to strive for excellence in providing exceptional care and support to patients and their families.
