St. Luke's Hospital Receives Avatar Solutions Patient Experience Awards

Chesterfield, Mo., April 28, 2016 - St. Luke's Hospital is a recipient of three Avatar Solutions patient experience awards. Avatar Solutions, a leading national provider of patient experience surveys, has named St. Luke's a 2015 HCAHPS Best Performer in three areas: overall rating, willingness to recommend and communication with doctors.

"Providing an outstanding experience is one way we fulfill our mission to improve the quality of our patients' lives," said Diane Ray, RN, FACHE, St. Luke's Hospital vice president of patient services and chief nursing officer. "Our entire healthcare team is dedicated to doing this by treating patients as if they are members of our own families."

The HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) survey is a national, standardized and publicly-reported survey of patients' perspectives on hospital care.* The Avatar Solutions HCAHPS Best Performer recognition is awarded to the facility in Avatar's national database with the highest top box rating for each HCAHPS composite in each bed size category.
