St. Luke's Hospital Now Offers Hospice Services

St. Luke's Hospice Services provides quality, compassionate end-of-life medical care and counseling in the comfort of patients' homes.

CHESTERFIELD, MO, September 8, 2010 - St. Luke's Hospital announces the addition of St. Luke's Hospice Services, providing quality, compassionate end-of-life medical care and counseling for patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Talat Nawas, MD, is interim medical director and Lisa Heisserer is the administrator of St. Luke's Hospice Services.

"St. Luke's Hospice Services completes the continuum of quality healthcare St. Luke's provides the community," said Lisa Heisserer, administrator of St. Luke's Hospice Services and St. Luke's Home Health Services. "We bring the same personalized, compassionate care that St. Luke's is known for to patients and families as they make difficult end-of-life decisions about their medical treatment. This ensures the patient's last days are as comfortable and as meaningful as possible."

St. Luke's obtained the business from Faith Hospice, Inc., which has provided comprehensive, compassionate end-of-life care to the community since 2006.
