St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital, a 143-bed acute care community hospital in St. Louis County, MO, has been serving the medical and healthcare needs of St. Louis County since 1974. Part of St. Luke's network of care, St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital provides quality medical and surgical services and programs, including intensive care, general medical and surgical services, imaging, laboratory, cardiology, bariatrics (surgical weight loss management), orthopedics and emergency care.

We are conveniently located at the intersection of I-270 and Dougherty Ferry Road in West St. Louis County, just one exit south of West County Mall.

Lounge Twelve
Our self-service Lounge Twelve is open 24/7 and offers a selection of prepared meals, snacks and beverages. Items are prepared in our kitchen and stocked fresh daily. Debit and credit card accepted.
 
Guest meals
Visitors who want to eat with a patient may order a guest meal tray that will be delivered to the patient's room. Simply make your food selections off the in-room patient menu and place your order at the time the patient orders. The meal is delivered for $7.

You may pay for your guest meal in one of three ways:
  • Provide cash upon tray delivery (exact change preferred).
  • Purchase a voucher in advance in the cafe during business hours. Provide the voucher to the host when the meal is delivered.
  • Purchase a voucher in advance from the Lounge 12 kiosk (24 hours a day) using a credit or debit card. Provide the voucher to the host when the meal is delivered.
 
Cell phone usage
It is advised not to use cell phones near a person on a monitor.
 
Internet access
St. Luke's Des Peres Hospital offers wireless Internet access for our guests.
 
Gifts for patients
Visitors should check with the nurse before bringing gifts of food or drink to patients to make sure the gift is appropriate. In the Intensive Care Unit, please check with the unit nurse regarding any gifts for patients.
 
Parking
Parking for patients and visitors is available on the upper parking lots. Parking is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All parking at St. Luke's Des Peres Hospital is free. Patients and visitors are cautioned not to park in reserved areas or certain designated areas. Be sure to lock your vehicle.

If something happens which causes you to need assistance with your vehicle, please contact Security. For an escort to your vehicle, which is provided at any time, please call Security.
 
 
Chapel
The chapel is located on the fourth floor, off the main hospital lobby. Visitors of all faiths are welcome for worship services, prayer and meditation. Holy Communion is distributed by request. Please notify the nursing staff if you would like to receive Holy Communion.
 
 
Other helpful visitor guidelines
  • The staff of St. Luke's Des Peres Hospital is here to help with any questions you may have.
  • Security officers assist you in your safety while you are visiting our hospital and out in the parking lot.
  • Please consider the patient's health by washing your hands before and after visiting.
  • Trust and confidence of patients is our primary mission. When the doctor, nurse, technician or therapist enters to give treatment, visitors may be asked to leave the room.
