Competitive Salary and Benefits

St. Luke's Hospital's salary structure and benefits package for residents is very competitive. The low cost of living and location of the hospital remains a major advantage to St. Louis and the Midwest.

  • PGY-1 - $64,507
  • PGY-2 - $66,627
  • PGY-3 - $69,081

Benefits include an attractive healthcare, dental and vision insurance plan upon date of hire. Life insurance begins after 90 days of employment and long-term disability insurance is provided after one year of employment and may be purchased earlier. 

Additional benefits include a book allowance ($1,000), free parking, encrypted flashdrive, annual lab coats, meal allowance, electronics allowance, Washington University Manual and Internship Survival Guide, On-Call: Principles and Protocols, the Massachusetts General Hospital Handbook of Internal Medicine and AHA Emergency Cardiovascular Care. Each resident receives ACP membership the most current MKSAP edition.
