St. Luke's hires graduate nurses any time of the year, based on our open positions. Best of all, you can start working soon after graduation. You will have 90 days from your graduation date to obtain a Missouri nursing license.
You are welcome to apply to any Graduate Nurse Residency or open RN position. However, some of our specialty departments such as the Operating Room, Labor & Delivery, Special Care Nursery and Pediatrics may require nursing experience. You will find the nursing experience required for each position on the job posting.

- 6700 Cardiopulmonary Stepdown
- 7600 Medical - Surgical / Renal
- 7700 Medical - Surgical / Oncology
- 8600 Orthopedics
- 8700 General Surgery
- 9600 Neuroscience
- 9700 Medical - Surgical / Pulmonary

Interviews
All applications are reviewed by the nurse recruiter. Those applications that meet the minimum requirements are forwarded to the hiring managers for review. You will receive an email notifying you when your application has been forwarded to the nurse manager, or you can see your status for each position when you log-on to your job profile. You will be contacted by phone or email, if you are selected for an interview.
Graduate Nurse Residency
All new graduates and nurses with less than one year of experience will be placed in our Nurse Residency program upon hire. The Graduate Nurse Residency is offered in January and June; however, residency content is offered as needed for new graduates who are hired throughout the year.
