Community Health Needs Assessment

St. Luke’s commitment to improve the health of the communities we serve, as reflected in our mission, is facilitated through the development of Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNA) and Community Health Implementation Plans (CHIP). The process to develop the CHNA and CHIP helps us to better understand and focus on the important health and health-related issues affecting our communities and to develop strategies and implementation plans intended to drive meaningful results.

The current CHNAs for St. Luke’s Hospital and St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital focus on the following priority needs between 2022 and 2025:

St. Luke's Hospital 2022 CHNA Priority Needs

  • Obesity
  • Mental Health
  • Older Adults

St. Luke's Des Peres Hospital 2022 CHNA Priority Needs

  • Obesity
  • Smoking / Respiratory Health
  • Significant Need Areas
