On Wednesday, April 5th, St. Luke's Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute's TAVR Team successfully performed their 500th TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement) procedure! Congratulations to the doctors and nurses who have dedicated themselves to healing on this team, and throughout our hospitals. We are extremely proud to announce St. Luke's received a 3 Star rating from The TVT Registry™, a benchmarking tool developed to track patient safety and real-world outcomes related to the transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedure. Only 8% of the programs in the country receive a 3 star rating!
