Mentoring Monday: What to Look for in a Mentor (St. Louis Business Journal)

Building a relationship with the right mentor can make all the difference in how much you both gain from the experience. In previewing the St. Louis Business Journal's Bizwomen Mentoring Monday event, the Business Journal asked this year's mentors: What should a mentee look for in a mentor? 

St. Luke's President and CEO Christine M. Candio, FACHE, weighed in. 

"Potential alignment with their aspirational goals. Once a mentee understands what they wish to gain from the relationship, research potential mentors for that alignment. Personal awareness if one prefers specific gender of a mentor."
