Chesterfield, MO., October 24, 2024 - St. Luke's is pleased to announce that Daniel J. McCormack is the health system's new vice president & executive director of development. McCormack is leading all aspects of St. Luke's development office and reports directly to St. Luke's chief financial officer (CFO), Jon Vitiello.

Mr. McCormack brings 30 years of experience in fund development to St. Luke's, most recently serving as vice president of philanthropy for Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) in Springfield, Illinois, where he led the integrated fund development programs of fifteen hospitals in Illinois and Wisconsin. During his tenure, the local foundation teams secured more than $170 million in contributions and grants, an average annual increase of more than 40% over the funds raised prior to his arrival.
Prior to joining HSHS, Mr. McCormack held development leadership positions with the State University of New York at Buffalo and Mercy Hospital Foundation, Buffalo. McCormack received his B.A. from Rice University and a Juris Doctor (law degree) from Tulane University.
