Chesterfield, MO, September 7th, 2023 - St. Luke’s is pleased to announce that Ryan Miller has been hired as the health system’s new chief operating officer (COO). Joining St. Luke’s executive leadership team, Miller will optimize its day-to-day operational performance. Miller will report directly to St. Luke’s President and CEO, Andy Bagnall.

Mr. Miller brings more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare field to the St. Luke’s COO role, most recently serving as regional chief operating officer for CHRISTUS Health in Southeast Texas. While at CHRISTUS Miller led one of the highest performing regions in a 40-hospital, international health system, and oversaw operations for multiple facilities across a nine-county region.
Prior to CHRISTUS Health, Mr. Miller held administrative leadership positions at Sentara Healthcare in Virginia, one of the largest health systems in the Mid-Atlantic region. Miller holds a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Brigham Young University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, an Eagle Scout, and serves on the boards of directors for various non-profit organizations in his community, including the United Way and Nutrition and Services for Seniors. Mr. Miller will begin work in his new role with St. Luke’s in late October 2023.
