St. Luke’s Hospital, Chesterfield and St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital Recognized as Best Hospitals for 2022-2023 By U.S. News & World Report

 

St. Luke’s Hospital, Chesterfield Named One of The Best Hospitals in The State of Missouri, and a Best Regional Hospital, St. Louis Metro; St. Luke’s Hospital, Chesterfield and St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital Rated “High Performing” in a combined 16 Types of Care/Procedures! These are the highest awards a hospital can earn for U.S. News’ Best Hospitals Procedures & Conditions ratings.

 

Chesterfield, MO – July 26, 2022 St. Luke’s Hospital, Chesterfield, has been recognized as a 2022-2023 Best Hospital in 15 categories by U.S. News & World Report. In addition to ranking 5th in Missouri and 4th in the St. Louis Metro area in Best Regional Hospitals, St. Luke’s Hospital, Chesterfield received “High Performing” ratings in 13 Specialty areas, including:

 

Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, Aortic valve surgery, Back surgery (spinal fusion),  Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), Colon cancer surgery, Heart attack, Heart bypass surgery, Heart failure, Hip fracture, Hip replacement, Kidney failure, Knee replacement, and Lung cancer surgery.

 

St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital received “High Performing” ratings in 3 Specialty areas, including: Hip Fracture, Spinal Fusion, and Pneumonia.

 

The annual Best Hospitals rankings and ratings, now in their 33rd year, are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive quality care for challenging health conditions or elective procedures.

For the 2022-2023 rankings and ratings, U.S. News evaluated more than 4,500 hospitals across 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions. In the 15 specialties, 164 hospitals were ranked in at least one specialty. State and metro area rankings reflect the highest performing hospitals in the area across multiple areas of care.
