Chesterfield, Mo., October 25, 2022 – St. Luke’s Hospital today announced that it is one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Cardiac Surgery and America’s 100 Best for Coronary Intervention, and the only hospital in Missouri to receive both of these distinctions in 2023, according to new research released by Healthgrades. These achievements reflect St. Luke’s outstanding clinical outcomes for Cardiac Surgery and Coronary Intervention and puts
St. Luke’s Hospital in the top 2% of hospitals nationwide for Cardiac Surgery and Coronary Interventional Procedures.

Healthgrades evaluated patient mortality and complication rates for 31 of the most common conditions and procedures at nearly 4,500 hospitals across the country to identify the top-performing hospitals for specialty care. This year’s analysis revealed significant variation in favorable patient outcomes between America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Cardiac Surgery and 100 Best Hospitals for Coronary Intervention as compared to hospitals that did not receive this distinction*.
