St. Luke's Hospital Nationally Recognized for Outstanding Patient Experience

St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield has achieved the Outstanding Patient Experience Award™ by Healthgrades® for the 11th year in a row. The 2021 designation places St. Luke’s among the top 10 percent of hospitals nationwide based on an analysis of patient experience data.

Healthgrades evaluated the patient experience performance of nearly 3,300 hospitals using Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAPHS) patient survey data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), covering admissions from January 2019 through December 2019. 

The survey questions focus on patients’ perspectives of their care in the hospital. The topics of the questions range from cleanliness and quietness in patient rooms to communication with physicians and nurses.
