St. Luke's to Open Drive-Through COVID-19 Testing Site

The testing site will be in the parking lot north of the Desloge Outpatient Center, Building B.

Chesterfield, Mo. , March 24, 2020

St. Luke’s will open a drive-through novel coronavirus (COVID-19) testing site on Wednesday, March 25. The testing site is on the parking lot between the Mr. and Mrs. Theodore P. Desloge, Jr. Outpatient Center, Building B and St. Luke’s Resource Center which is directly west across Highway 141 from the hospital’s main campus.

St. Luke’s is following the testing criteria provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Individuals who are experiencing symptoms consistent with novel coronavirus – fever, cough and shortness of breath – and have a written order for COVID-19 testing from a St. Luke’s Medical Staff provider are eligible for testing. Once an individual receives a physician’s order, they should call the St. Luke’s COVID-19 scheduling line at 314-966-9107 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. They can also schedule an appointment online through InQuicker at stlukes-stl.com. Patients must schedule an appointment before visiting the testing site.

The health screening and evaluation will be performed while the patient remains in their vehicle. The testing site will remain open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Individuals who utilize the drive-through testing site are advised to follow the instructions given by their healthcare provider and self-quarantine while they await their results. Test results will be available to the patient within five to seven business days.

To protect patient privacy, media access to the site will be restricted. Photos for use by media outlets will be made available.
