For many people, spiritual support plays a large role in the healing process. At St. Luke'sDes Peres Hospital, we encourage patients of all faiths to receive visits and spiritual or sacramental support from their own clergy. If your own spiritual advisor is unavailable, or if you would like to receive Holy Communion, ask your nurse to contact our Spiritual Care team for you.
The chaplains on St. Luke'sDes Peres Hospital's Spiritual Care team are here to aid you with any spiritual needs you may have. They are spiritual counselors who are available for periods of crisis and to help with coping and recovery through spirituality. You may request their services 24 hours a day.
The hospital chapel is located on the fourth floor, off the main hospital lobby. Visitors of all faiths are welcome for worship services, prayer and meditation. Holy Communion is distributed by request. Please notify the nursing staff if you'd like to receive Holy Communion.

Language interpreters Our language interpreters are available to help facilitate communications with any patient who's not fluent in English. We can provide interpreters to communicate in the language you are most comfortable speaking. Your nurse will coordinate these services upon request.
