The Albert Pujols Wellness Center for Adults with Down Syndrome was established in 2009 as the first of its kind in the St. Louis area.  The Wellness Center was developed to address the growing need for wellness services specifically tailored for adults with Down syndrome. Clients, aged 17 or older, and their caregivers have access to a range of services through the Wellness Center including:

• Comprehensive physical exams with the Wellness Center Medical Director**
• Nutritional assessments with a Registered Dietician
• Social Work services 
• Referrals to specialty providers as needed
• Classes and events to promote physical, mental and social well-being
• Parent and caregiver events and seminars

**Please note that the Wellness Center Medical Director sees clients for consultation purposes only and is designed to complement regular visits with an established primary care provider.
