St. Luke's will be a catalyst for building a healthy community. We will stress education regarding life styles, nutrition, immunization, and other methods of maintaining the health of the body and the spirit. We will find new and innovative means of bringing this message to the community, especially the underserved and underprivileged.
As we continue to provide expert and compassionate care to heal the acutely ill in our hospital and skilled nursing facility in a cost efficient manner; we will also increase our efforts to assist those with chronic disease in their homes, to relieve their suffering and improve their quality of life.
We will get input and measure and evaluate our efforts to be sure that what we are doing brings benefit to the people of the community. We will continually refine our approaches to maintain and improve community health.
