Paul Matz, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at the Brain and Spine Center at St. Luke's Hospital.
Dr. Matz earned his medical degree from Columbia University in New York. He was chief resident at the University of California, San Francisco and completed a spine fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Before joining the Brain and Spine Center, Dr. Matz was an associate professor of neurosurgery at the University of Alabama. He also served as a staff neurosurgeon and assistant professor of neurosurgery at Stanford University. His research in the field of neurosurgery has been included in numerous publications and presentations around the U.S.
