Cynthia Poelker, MD, is a board-certified family physician on staff at St. Luke's Hospital. Dr. Poelker sees patients at Westglen Family Physicians in Ellisville, where she shares a practice with Barb O'Brien, DO, Donald Schnurpfeil, MD, Leah Swartwout, MD and Lori Utech, MD.
Dr. Poelker received her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2005 and completed her residency in family medicine in 2008 at St. John's Mercy, where she was chief resident. She joined Westglen Family Physicians in August 2008.
Dr. Poelker's areas of special interest include pediatric care, women's health, preventative care and weight management, as well as diabetes and hypertension care. She is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Poelker was born and raised in St. Louis and currently resides in Hazelwood with her husband and son.
She is accepting new pediatric, adolescent and adult patients and offers evening appointments on Mondays until 7 p.m.
