Individual education sessions and group classes are available by appointment. A physician's order is required. Sessions may be covered under your insurance plan. Each person should contact their claim information hotline to determine coverage. In addition, a free Insulin Pump Club and Adult Diabetes Support Group is offered.

Diabetes Exercise Program
St. Luke's Wellness Center offers the Diabetes Exercise Program (DEP) for active or relatively healthy individuals with diabetes or pre-diabetes. This program is ideal for those who desire an independent home or gym-based program designed specifically for their needs. Those who have had a cardiac event within the past year are not eligible for the DEP.

Introduction to Diabetes Management

Whether diabetes is new in your life or you have been living with it for awhile and feel you need to gain control, this program gives you the knowledge and tools to better manage your health. This free class, taught by a certified diabetes educator and registered dietitian, covers basic diabetes concepts, American Diabetes Association guidelines for diabetes care and self-management strategies. Tips will help you increase your knowledge and give resources for care.

Pre-Diabetes: Making Healthy Changes
