The Empowered Caregiver Series is a three-part series that will meet online on May 7th, 14th, and 21st from 6:00-7:00 PM. Brought to you in partnership by St. Luke's Hospital and the Alzheimer's Association.
This three-part series teaches caregivers how to navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone living with dementia and how to take care of their own wellbeing. The series will cover the following topics:
- Building foundations of caregiving,
- Communicating effectively,
- Responding to dementia-related behaviors, and
- Exploring care and support services.
This class is intended for family and friends caring for a loved with memory loss. It is not appropriate for people living with memory loss or paid professionals or caregivers.
